How it works
Hold your phone near your cat and catch five to ten seconds of steady purring. Feel Purr listens to the shape of it, the rhythm of the breath, the flutter inside the rumble, and rebuilds it as something you can feel in your hand.

This is the part we didn't expect people to love most.
Vet trips. Thunderstorms. Recovery cones. The days your cat is small and miserable and won't be talked out of it. Lay your phone against them, start their own purr, and let them feel a rumble they recognise.
Cats have always acted like a purr fixes things. They purr when they're happy, sure but also when they're hurt, frightened, or healing. There's a long-standing belief that something in it is genuinely restorative. We're not doctors and we won't pretend to be. We just know that when a purr starts up against your ribs, something in you unclenches, and cats seem to think the same.
For when they're not there
Some people record a cat they're about to be away from for a month.
Some people record a cat who is very old.
Some people open this app years later, press one button, and get thirty seconds of something they thought was gone.

A note for the funny people
Yes, it makes your phone vibrate. No, that is not what it's for.
It rumbles in slow breathing waves at the pace of a dozing cat, which is a spectacularly bad design brief for anything else. Please put it down. The cat is watching.
